Growing up in Issaquah, Jason started out as a kid mowing lawns and doing yard work in his neighborhood. His landscaping gig carried him through college and after graduating with a degree in Business he purchased an excavator and decided to continue on with a landscape construction business. When not working Jason spends time with his wife, 3 kids, 2 big dogs, 6 cats, chickens, reptiles and other miscellaneous family members. He also enjoys all things outdoors and aviation.
Oscar has been working with Hone Landscape Company for more than 8 years. He worked his way up from landscape technician to foreman and currently is project manager. Oscar does the imperative work of overseeing and helping out with the day to day operations of each project. He works with the both the customers and crew members directly on a daily basis to ensure everything is running smoothly. In addition to having extensive experience in the landscape industry he is a very cordial and accommodating person to work with. When not working he spends time with his wife and 3 kids at their farm house in Carnation and takes care of a wide array of pets and critters on the farm.
Marlene is probably the first person you’ll talk to if you call us at Hone Landscape. And that’s a good thing too because shes a pleasant person to speak with who does an amazing job of all that goes into managing an office. She has a lot of experience doing so as she owned a home building business with her husband for about 20 years. When not at work she enjoys playing golf with her husband, going to Kraken games, spending time with (or facetiming) her 3 kids and especially her grand kids who have been newly welcomed to the family.
Billie is a doer. She likes to get things done and get things done she does! When she started with Hone she hit the ground running and has established herself as integral in office and operational functions. She has a vast professional background working in a variety of endeavors including startup companies, veterinarian clinics, government agencies and wild horse conservation to name a few. On her days off she can be found caring for/ riding her horse or maybe going on a backcountry adventure with her husband.
Ben discovered landscape architecture and design while attending Washington State University. After initially pursuing a degree in building architecture his friend introduced him to the world of landscape design. He was hooked and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Ben has worked in the field and especially enjoys visiting project sites where he can see visions come to life. He is an avid sports fan and you’d be hard pressed to stump him with any relevant sports questions. Ben’s even tempered and friendly demeanor paired with his desire to create successful outcomes make him enjoyable to work with.
Anyone working with Ismael is guaranteed to have a great experience. His easy-going and calm demeanor coupled with a strong work ethic makes him very effective at his work. He’s been working with Hone Landscape for multiple years and is an asset to the company. When he’s not working he can be found spending time with his wife and kid at their home in Carnation. In addition to family time he enjoys soccer and the outdoors.
